Oh man traction control is probably holding you back big time, turn that thing off and you'll probably be in the low 5's. Can you do a rolling start run? Something like 2nd gear 30mph to 100?

If I had a racetrack or long enough playing field I would. I'll try to get a decent 0-60 run. But between holding the phone, public streets, and being a teacher that condemns street racing... I like to practice what I preach.

You condone street racing?

What's the purpose of having and ESC with E85 if you're not gonna break the law!

Here in San Diego I donate to a charity/ city program called race legal. Practically every Saturday we can race around a track at Qualcomm stadium for a nominal fee. I like to burn rubber. But I burn rubber when it's makes sense and I know that if I fuck up I only hurt myself.

No I gotcha, just was poking a little fun at the usage of 'condone' (vs something like 'condemn'), dang Iphone correction! Don't believe in street racing either, though an infrequent run to 100 on a deserted public road doesn't seem too awful. Anyway appreciate the video!

Yeah I hate the auto correct too. The deserted road I'm all for. I just don't have too many of those around here. Damn city areas!

Looks like 5.8 or so seconds to me too. The Traction control probably added .5 or so to the run.

When I start my car I do the following:

ESC Enabled
TC Off
Switch to Map 2 (allows auto-blip)

The ESC totally overwhelms the TC, even in "sport mode". It's OK to turn it off...cars didn't go unexpectedly careening off the road before the electronic Nannys took over. The only time I leave the TC engaged is on wet roads.

Allowing the TC to regularly engage will eat your rear brakes.

Based on my most recent conversation with Rob its looking like Febuary will be general availability.

He has ordered a huge batch of compressors as well as the rest of the parts required. Now when you order in large batches there is lead times.

He is also waiting on January 13th, 1 years after installation of the TQ250 on his test vehicle. Once that passes he can offer warranty on the product.

Thanks!!
