I don't think I'll ever do a track day, but it seems there's more than enough space for a trip to the grocery store, a bike, a baby and a stroller...maybe not all at once though...
![]() It also looks like you could fit the tires "standing", you could probably fit at least another tire in there. If anything, this proof of a more than usable trunk, is good "wife justification."

Of course the 4 tires would fit but it looks awfully tight in the front seat.

Those cannot possibly be production quality, they look ridiculous. And I very much doubt they are seatbelt guides, I have not seen them in any other photos. Why would you need a seatbelt guide anyways - my car has a very similar seat/B-pillar/seatbelt arrangement and does not have or need a seatbelt guide.

I suppose a re-route of an LED light wouldn't be too hard, right?

It would easy. Just re-route the wiring along the glass and mount it on the top. Avoiding the law would probably be the toughest part.

If they loaded the tires as Toyota recommends by stacking two tires where the spare is stored, there is probably a little more room to push the seats back. Of course, if you're heading to the track odds are you aren't carrying a passenger, nor is a more upright seating position closer to the steering wheel and pedals an issue.
