Finally, a real application test. It fits but that's a tough squeeze.

I am liking that silver more and more. Also, probably how I will roll constantly - rear seats down. Thanks!

Well then, this will be useful for me. That trunk is big enough to can stick my bike in it ... Hiyooo!!! I wont have to wait on a bike rack to go on my many Northface type adventures with my mt. bike.

Why did there have to be proof? People thought Toyota would lie about this?

I still haven't seen a good photo of what it looks like with PEOPLE back there. My usual cargo.

Hanzo 02-16-2012 03:53 PM

Hum.. looks like you can't swap trunks, there is a VIN tag on it:

Just like my dc2 tons of space back there with the seats down.....i know my seats will be down 99% of the time now....haha

SUB-FT86 02-16-2012 04:08 PM

Do you guys think the rear seats will be easily removable? I want those suckers gone.

7thgear 02-16-2012 04:08 PM

if a person wanted to sleep in the trunk (with the seats down) what is the maximum diagonal length?

if it's anything like my old VW, the answer is both yes and no

doing it the first time is a pain in the ass, because they were not meant for easy removal, but after awhile you understand the motions needed to take them out, and it becomes routine.

I still wonder why they mounted the 3rd brakelight like that. Couldn't they have tucked it in more or have a solid unit instead of the pegs showing!? :iono:
