So I saw this in person. I gotta say it's very clean and from far away, can't tell. Flat black they have that cover is perfect match! If you have single exit, it's worth buying!

Can someone explain to me what is the motivation for deleting one of the exhaust holes? Is it just for installing certain exhaust systems that have a single exhaust pipe? Personally, I've always felt more partial to having twin exhaust pipes rather than a single.

It's just to avoid the open hole look for those going with a single pipe yes.

Basically all the single exit systems exist to cut weight from the car. Most in the 15-20lb range over dual exit and to the track guys that adds up quick. The cover here gives someone who wants the car to look good for street use still an option.
