2013 Subaru BRZ Trunk Liner $50
JPM Coachworks Gauge Hood $120 JPM Coachworks Door Panel $140 Red Stiched E-Brake Boot $70 Knee Pads $100 Auto-Dim Mirror $150 = $640. It is fast enough for the street (I feel). Make it a bit more comfortable and upscale, maybe GPS if that is your kind of thing, some sound deadening. I have also been eyeing Catskinz w/ heating elements but I see your in NV so probably not something you would get as much use out of. Put the rest into paying off debts, mortgage, kids college fund, or an IRA |

You say performance, but what kind of performance? Street or track? Big difference in what you'll spend your money on. For the street spend money on what gives you the most excitement in your trousers, not necessarily performance. On the track go for performance and safety.
For street you will be focused on power and aesthetics imho. Suspension really isn't going to make the car much more fun or give you significantly better performance on the street, the way most people configure it around here actually gives them worse performance. If you get a big kick out of having a slammed car so be it, just don't be surprised when a car with a stock suspension whoops your ass at an autocross or on ramp. While you'll need better tires to handle more power, if you're after fun you'll still want to leave enough to let the car get loose. Sticking to the stock size and getting really nice rubber like Supersports will serve you well. If you upsize do so only slightly. These people that claim the car needs more power to "bring it to the potential of the chassis" and then slap 255+ size tires on all corners make me shake my head. The damn mustang GT gets by with only 235's. Unless you're going with some really high power you won't need more than that, and if you are going for really high power, what did you buy this car for? I haven't done a whole lot of research, but for getting more power in this car I'd probably suggest forced induction. More mid range is what this car needs to be fun on the street. Whatever set up you go for, compatible bolt ons can provide enjoyment. Personally I cannot stand a loud exhaust but some people dig it. I do like a car with induction noise, so a louder intake can be fun. Again, on the street the important thing is to do what is going to make the car more fun. Public roads are not the place to let skills, ego, and machines compete. No one is timing you out there or measuring telemetry. It's only you and the size of the smile on your face. On the track, forget all of the above. Subtract weight and add track time, tires and brakes.

I'd aim for 350 whp, upgrading the drivetrain to take the power, and add bigger brakes to stop myself.
And tires. |

Go with tires & wheels FIRST. That's a must before adding power b/c of the sheer crappiness of the stock tires.
Then I'd advise power mods if you want & suspension then. Use remainder for "vanity" mods (aesthetics). Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
