Thicker line is hi. Thinner line is lo.

Unless you're in a place which gets freezing weather (like Prescott occasionally or Flagstaff regularly), you'll never need more than the lo setting to get comfortable. Mostly you'll just want footwell vents blowing warm air across your feet b/c the rain froze your toes.

Can you do tunes for OFT?

What about tuning for FI applications?

I'm asking b/c this platform is so new, I want to know about any turner's experience with this platform first & what he's used to tuning for on this platform (that is, the FA 20 motor) & what he's confident on tuning.

Alright guys we are getting together an order of OFT's for locals this week and I wanted to give you all the option of jumping in on this.

I am selling them at cost please contact me for pricing but its lower than the 495 they are quoted at and the more people we get the lower it goes. The only catch is they will be shipped to me so you have to come see me to pick them up. (I know it's horrible lol)

This is for a Brand New fully warrantied OFT from Vishnu. Everything you need to get started, E85 is now available as is Data Logging. If you want to do Shiv's remote tuning that's an additional cost but I can see if I can get a deal on that, however if you are N/A you will be more than happy with the Stage 1 & 2, 91 and E85 files already out. I will be providing updates for certain items (aka specific Air Intakes) as time goes on and I help tune other's vehicles.
Stage 1 = Stock Header and 1 Cat Removed with Cat back and other minor bolt ons
Stage 2 = No Cats and Full Bot On's Including Header

I want to order this week so if you want to jump in let me know right now we have 4 so far.

Even if its not freezing heated seats have their benefits. In my jetta I used to crank the heated seats all the way up as well as the heater and roll down all the windows and open the sunroof. Its a strange sensation being cold and hot at the same time. Probably not very healthy, but it was definitely entertaining.

With the heater on "hi" (the heated seat layout has been essentially the same as it was in my 2005 Forester 2.5XS), it actually roasts my rear like it's too close to a camp fire after a few minutes. The "lo" setting is comfortable for a moderately lengthy drive and enough to unfreeze my posterior when it's chilly outside and makes it one less heat sink when trying to warm up the interior air.

This has me thinking of so many jokes, but I seem to offend people online so I'll keep these gems to myself. Lol

I feel like I need to write a post and put it in my signature on this. OFT is not a platform, it is not a tuning suite and does not have a turning suite. OFT is a cable used to flash the ecu. It has onboard memory to store logs & roms. Beyond that it is nothing else. Shiv the owner uses ProTuner to make roms, and created a definition file for that. You can use whatever software you want. You can also use a tractrix cable instead of OFT to log & flash (which is significantly cheaper, but less pretty and doesn't keep roms on the device). Shiv's marketing confused a lot of people. Shiv just happens to also include some basemaps / canned tunes with his product to make the product worth purchasing for people that just want a slight ecu update for minor modifications / minor adjustments to the factory tune.

Quite a few tuners in town can tune on tunerpro if you want to use shiv's basemap. Otherwise ecuflash will have a basemap here soon (still in beta) both would ideally be usable with tactrix or oft.

Travis tunes for open source / free platforms so I am sure he is more than able to tune on tunerpro using shiv's definition file. But I also believe he has definition from ecuflash as well. And he has his own cable to flash the ecu, so the OFT wouldn't matter to him.

Just wanted to inform you so you aren't spun on the marketing that was done. Nothing against OFT i think its a great product for people who want multiple maps. I personally don't like the idea of having E85 + 91 octane maps on my ecu, and prefer to keep them separate completely and a device with memory to hold multiple ROMs is fantastic for this. And being able to easily check some minor data such as afr, knock, etc on a display is handy vs using a laptop. This is why i was making my own hardware for logging.

No, I was speaking of the FA20 as the platform. That is what is brand new, and why I want to know a tuner's experience with it first, b/c even the good ones are still learning this engine.
