that makes sense. I'd love to know what day they are going to be at my local dealership. I really just want to sit in it and get a feel for the car. I was very disappointed that they didn't bring a couple of cars to the autoshow for people to sit in

When I worked for Toyota we would have something somewhat like this for new model launches. Sales staff from all over the area would go to a educational presentation about the new car.

Their would usually be 1 - 2 of each trim present, and would take place over a day or 2. If I recall correctly it would normally go down 1 -3 months before the car would go on sale, so this timing seems logical.

I know Subaru did the same exact thing for the 2012 Impreza a few months before it launched. That was where the production BRZ was first shown to dealers.
