EcuTek offers a base file/help file..my Flex Fuel tune is completely different from EcuTek's 'help file', I personally dont like how they do certain things.. doesn't make their way wrong Short Term & Long Term Fuel Trims 100% work and have nothing to do with Flex Fuel tuning. No matter what you want your fuel trims in the -15/+15 range MAX. I try and keep them -10/+10 Range If you have big trims and have flex fuel setup the flex fuel fueling side of it isnt setup right. ecutek uses trims to compensate for e85? why wouldn't they just change the injector scaler like you normally would? fuel trims not working is a really big downside to that implementation lol.
edit: oh ok so the tuner sets it up.. not an across-the-board ecutek thing. |

I was fairly certain this was part of another issue I was having due to fuel trims possibly maxing out causing lean spots. I'll eventually post more information after I do a tear down... I just want to verify some things physically before I posted logs on the forum. As something like that can cause a PR mess for tuners. Even though you and I do not see eye to eye and obviously don't get along and were curious I can definitely show you some of the scenarios in private.

I don't plan on commenting much further in public at this time. As I said if you wanted more information you may contact me in private. I don't want to start a "vendor bash" in a vendor created thread is all. And this is not pointed towards you or anyone in specific. I just know how topics like this tend to turn out.

So yeah... ran the car hard only up to 6K rpm and it did not trip the code. As soon as I hit redline the code pops immediately.
On a side note, I've been starting the car in 15-20*F weather and the supercharger is fine. Time will tell, but I'm not going to worry about the 25*F warning as long as the temp doesn't drop to sub 0*F

My supercharger sounds bad in this weather until it gets heat. Disconnected oil cooler yesterday as temps would never get above 150F. You notice any major difference in sound in the SC when it is cold? Almost sounds like bearing noise.
