Does that mean only 7.2 lbs (24.2-17)?

Couldn't find the post, but I think it's on NASIOC. Someone weighed one and it was 12.1 lbs.

Easy installation, it took me about 45 minutes with jack stands. Huge difference. I got mine from Axle-Exchange.

Just installed mine. The car feels much lighter in acceleation. No vibration No un normal noise maybe because of my loud exhaust.
Very happy with the result of this drive shaft.

Bump for any info on this. Any fitment issues with a full 3" Perrin exhaust? Exactly how much clearance is needed to prevent issues with this driveshaft?

Not to double bump but, it looks like I'll just have to find out if there are fitment issues myself. I ordered one this afternoon. Hopefully it will work with a full perrin resonated 3" exhaust.

EDIT: Yep, it clears a full Perrin 3" exhaust with a little less than 1" to spare.

Has anybody ran with this shaft over 100mph and experienced any vibration? There is this loud vibration i feel when driving 105mph and over in 6th gear. I'm not sure if this is because of the hollow center of the aluminum shaft making noise..but I've only heard reviews of a whine. Also, what do they mean by this driveshaft being balaced at 5000rpm? Any input will be appreciated. thanks!

They balanced it up to a drive shaft rotating speed of 5,000 RPM, not your engine speed. Similar to balancing a tire.
