I'd have to agree with this!
Lots of debate regarding LBJ's "killer instinct." It's kind of hard when you're in a team who has players that can take over a game at any given day. He did try back in 2007, but came up short unfortunately. Timmy got the upper hands in that series. |

numbers do lie though and thats the problem. you can set stats up to show whatever you want. kobe has the most winning shots and if you look at them, a lot of them should be impossible to make. jordan could get to easier shots and kobe could make more difficult shots. i dont get to watch too many heat games but the game winners he makes arent nearly as inspiring imo. |

I love and respect the Mail Man's game. That guy would out muscle a lot of players (even in today's standards) and played smart around the hoop too.
Duncan and Malone can both play the post well, rebound, block, and finish at the basket better than most. However Duncan seems like he's more built for a longer career, can shoot further out, and pass better than Malone. So I'd take Duncan over Malone.

Duncan. More creative, more skilled, better range. Didn't have a ton of his production spoon fed to him like Malone did. Also, Duncan is deceptively strong, so isn't conceding that much to Malone there.
Come on, seriously. Duncan is the consensus GOAT PF. Malone was a great player, but I'd take KG over him as well. And Dirk, depending on the center. Disclaimer: I'm from San Antonio. |

Opinion appreciated but they both have different skill sets. I feel as if, for the sake of comparison, Duncan is a mash between Malone and Dirk. He can stretch the floor with the mid range but can bully his way down low which is why he's an all time great. Karl was a beast down low and honestly I think, though it would be competitive, he would throw Garnett around. He may have not been liked by many but he wasn't the 2nd leading scorer of all time for no reason.

I've only had i once in my life and was actually playing ball. Was doing everything on the court, had scored like 30 points, stole a ball on a tied game with seconds left was racing down the court to score an easy game winning layup. Around the three point line took one step and it just felt weird, like never before. Next step with the same leg and I was rolling around on the floor screaming of pain (I could not take two more steps and win the game, I threw the ball up as good as I could but my body was shutting down). At some point in my life I have broken both knees, a wrist, the nose and even that same day suffered a bad landing on a hard foul driving to the basket, the leg cramp pain trumps them all except one knee break (not the other). It is STUPID the amount of pain and how powerless you can become. I laugh my ASS off really hard at anyone that thinks cramps are nothing. That shit HURTS and renders you useless. Actually when i saw him hit the three from almost half court cramped up that was like Fucking WOW.... Hitting that shot with the stakes and with no legs, that was some shit. But yeah he was flopping that too...

Its really funny because stats are awesome to everyone until they uncover cold hard truths and then they are wrong and misleading. ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW, Mr. No heart or clutch hit a game winning shot today

i have, in fact, had a muscle cramp. twice while playing basketball. i get that they arent fun. heres the thing though, have you ever ruptured your achilles tendon? because i have while playing basketball. so if we are going to allow our personal experiences to carry weight, there is only one of us qualified to compare the injuries. im not trying to take anything away from lebron. hes easily the best player in todays league. he just isnt on that level with jordan or kobe. |

I wonder where in my statement I even remotely implied a cramp is worse than an Achilles rupture? I don't understand what does Kobe rupturing his Achilles has anything to do with LeBron cramping up. I take nothing away from Kobe so why even mention it? If you like ballhoggers than Kobe or Melo are your guys. Nothing wrong with that. We are all different and have different tastes and likes. Kobe has a great killer instinct. I don't take a thing away from him. I personally like playing the game of basketball sharing the ball while still being able to dominate it at will, so my guy is LeBron. Anyone saying a cramp is nothing and you can play right through it is a hater honestly, who are we to say in how much pain anyone is? I always laugh when someone who doesn't play is watching a game, a player twists an ankle, is rolling on the floor in pain, laces them up tight and continues playing. The person who doesn't play says "oh, look at that flop!!" Well Einstein, if you would have ever played, a twist ankle hurts bad, but since your body is hot pain goes away fast, adrenaline kicks in and you keep playing like nothing. After the game is when it gets good. I'm on the phone so if this post has mistakes, blame Autocorrect
