Hehe we all have a similar addiction. The BRZ was one of 3 cars I've purchased this year alone! I've owned about 25 cars in the 11 years I've been driving. The longest I've kept a car is my current MR2 which is my seventh MR2 and I've had it for six years exactly. I don't tend to get too attached to anything, just enjoy it for a while, try to fix it up, and sell it when the next shiny thing comes up for sale. I do truly hope I'll keep my current stable of cars for a long time though because they're a great and versatile little bunch!
Best of luck with the M3; I hope to own one someday!

Okay, this is too weird. I had a 2003 350Z. That makes three identical cars. If want to know what cars you would have purchased had you been buying from 1991 to 2003 just ask.

What'd you think about the 350z? I'm thinking about picking one up to use on the track/autocross/weekends. Mainly so I can take something cheaper to the track. Trying to see how it compares (driving-wise) to our cars. TIA.

I never tracked it but can tell you it is more planted than the BRZ and of course faster. Not as nimble as the BRZ, and you don't feel as attached to the road. The 350Z is far superior on the interstate for long drives and doesn't beat the crap out of you like the BRZ.
Having not tracked either car I would have to guess the BRZ out classes the 350Z in terms of fun and precision, but I have no real basis for that statement. |
