The last one I put on the trunk off to the side. Still have room for a jack, tool bag, and overnight bag for trips. I put a set of 225/17's in there this weekend and they fit MUCH easier.
For me the proper loading is 2 vertical behind the passenger seat, 1 horizontal behind the drivers, and on horizontal in the trunk. Fit gear around as appropriate.

With the +35's and 245/40/s, is there ever a concern with the fender rubbing the outside of the tire during hard cornering? It seems like they stick out a bit too much?

Still can't decide between +35 or +45...

I've never had a problem with rubbing on +38s (17x9 and 245/40s) with stock suspension or coilovers.

I have 255's on them and they don't rub at all on the fender. I looks like the tire rubs the fender liner at the front inside of the wheel well at full lock but just barely.

Did the BRZ's first track day this weekend at MSR Houston. Car felt great, need brake pads badly as the end of the last 2 sessions the brakes were getting pushed really hard. I ran a 1:48.1XX in the last session, the car would be in TTD for NASA Time Trials, the record lap on that track right now is a 1:49.813...1.7 seconds slower.

Nice! Look into some DS2500s for awesome mix-duty pads that don't dust too much. Mine are awesome for RTR/CS and hard driving. I ran AX6 on track days and while amazing on track, they were too touchy for autocross, not enough modulation.

Assuming you did brake fluid already?

Sure did, I have ATE Blue! I put it in when I did the Chasebay's stainless lines.

I am leaning toward Carbotech XP10's but I will see what happens, I have till the end of next month.

If you're interested in better, lighter rotors to go with it, I have some DBA 4000 T3s I'm not using (3000 miles, 5 autocrosses, no track), just with some surface rust I need to clean (garage had a small flood :/).

I can't imagine the XP10s would work well autocrossing a light(ish) car. If the 6 was any indication, you'll have a switch for a brake pedal at autocross speeds/grip levels. On the track though, I'm sure they will be epic.
