The GVW # has to be wrong. the miata has a 600 pound cargo capacity and that is only a 2 seater. there is no way a 2+2 car has less weight capacity than a 2 seater.

hell, if i put a set of track rims/tires in the car and drove it myself I couldn't even have a passenger. no way that is possible.

Size does not correlate with rated payload capacity. As an example, the GMC Syclone (early 90's AWD Turbo version of the Chevy S-10 pickup) had a rated payload of ~800 lbs. A new Fiat 500 is rated for ~1000 lbs of payload.

see mine are 2 and 5, i couldnt imagine their combined weight being more than 60lbs... and i bet scion will have rear seat dvd players, i mean the back seats were designed for kids more than adults, if not ill install them...

Haha. I was had me and 4 other people in my car once. Thats right, 5 people in my small ass base GT Celica. Yeah they were uncomfortable but oh well. But what was so funny is my little car could barely get up to speed. At first I was like "WTF am I having to go to 3500k instead of normally 2500k?!?!" Hahaha that night my car was struggling. mfw

This car is made for a single guy lol. 441.7 pounds is all you have to play with. I am 150 pounds 5'9 but most people are around 200. So you could pretty much only take you and your buddy/gf.

I'v also never had to really worry about having to much weight in my car before lol. In planes all the time but never in cars :P
