http://translate.googleusercontent.c...4znbIV7nKYIv_g
I cant get google translate to translate the entire table; but from what i understand (and what im the most interested in) is: MPG: 12.3 km/l = 29.17 MPG (JC08 Test cycle, Full details on page 2) = 36 MPG EPA/CAFE Gross vehicle mass (limited): 1450 kg = 3196.7 lb Vehicle weight (limited): 1250 kg = 2755 lbs Not quite sure what the difference between gross mass and vehicle weight is.. Nothing we didn't already know about a version of a car we're not getting.
really? i was mostly interested in MPG numbers. Seems like its in line with subaru japan's. Im assuming then that the scion will have simmilar mpg
The gross vehicle mass number is scary, I hope that's not just a rough translation for wet weight.
Gross vehicle weight is the weight of the car with it's maximum rated payload. What it means is that the car should never be burdened with more than ~440 lbs of fluids/people/crap.

According to the source of all knowledge, back in ye olde days (~y2k) the average adult American male weighed 191 lbs, and the average adult American female weighed 164 lbs. |
Perhaps the poster got lb and kg confused?
