I'm not really interested in the product as I plan on going turbo, but I would like to make a reference for cost/performance for future people I talk to.

I only spent the cost of the kit + batteries (estimated cost will be around $1600-1700 including batteries thus far.) Though I did install a nexus 7 as my headunit recently and I'm running torque to get data from the odb2 port.

I have been trying to keep up with your install it made me decide to revisit my Eaton Clutch Supercharger days from years ago with V6 Mazda's. (They are found on the C230 Kompressor from around 2003) I bought one and will be running that on my FR-S. I think meeting up some day at a mutual meet would be fun to see the results.

To be honest, I didn't even calculate this. But it was no where close to being at the static limit.

I haven't done any controlled tested that would tell me how much extra hp an full exhaust would give over just a header. I'd guess around 10hp but I don't know for sure since we removed the midpipe, cat delete and catback the same time we converted over to running E85.

The E85 map is done and testing in a few local cars. I've just decided to hold out on releasing it publicly until we get advance multiplier added to the list of datalogging channels. That should be this week. Hopefully early this week.

Hey Shiv, are we going to see a stg 1 as well as stg 2 E85 tune so those of us without a catless header yet are able to run it or are you going to simply tweak the tune via the 195 remote tune package for those not running a header as of yet or those of us out there that have a header option that has a high flow cat incorporated into the design?

Two questions (and I'm sorry if these have been answered):

1) How does the transition from gas to E85 go? Should you just let your tank get very low, fill up the car with E85 and flash it? I assume the car is not tuned to the ragged edge of performance on E85...but how much mixture is too much mixture?

2) How does this work with changing ethanol content, such as E70 or whatever it happens to be in the colder states? I only plan on running this in the spring/summer/fall anyways, but I'm curious.

If you run your gasoline down to E (so at least the low fuel light comes on) and then fill up with E85, you will be golden. Over the next few days I'm going to test how sensitive/tolerant the tune is to e85/gasoline mixes. I suspect it will be happy with running a few gallons of gasoline in there because straight E86 is overkill as far as octane/cooling go. I will report my findings.

To support true flex fuel (reading and adjusting mapping based upon flexfuel sensor input) requires some custom code to be written. Something that I have no had time to look into. Ideally, I'd like to develop a map that allows anywhere from E40 to E85 and automatically adapts without the need for any additional sensors/hardware. This would give most people enough flexibility to mix fuel for the most part. Only needing to return to the standard gasoline map when ethanol content gets really low. This is one of the things on my to do list this and next week.
