Anything between like 50-75mph, I initiate 3rd. Higher or lower uses different gear. You want mid 3rd for clutch kick. If you're redline in 3rd and you're gonna clutchkick, I would just upshift again and then handbrake in 4th and drop down to 3rd
Thanks for this info. Can't wait for my next event to try this.

Just get on a skid pan with two cones at either end and try and drift around one then hold the drift until you feel the cars weight transfer and then go the other way around. It's hard to explain but you just need to get on a skid pan and keep at it until you get it. It will happen....

This is a video of me on a skid pan when I was still learning. The day this video was filmed, I didn't know how to link corners in the morning, then this was captured that evening. You'll get it, you just need to practice.

I usually pull the ABS fuse before doing any serious drifting.

Kick again. Multiple kicks is common in lower power.

Last week event mid day after a run I had the stability light and ABS light come on. Turned the car off and all went away. Didn't have any other issues for the rest of the day. Did an event yesterday and same thing happened mid day, but it turned off on its own after about twenty seconds on the course.

I had the ECU replaced last year after the CEL came on during a track event and put the car in limp mode not letting me adjust TCS or stability.

Has anyone been having issues like this so far? Let me know if I need to explain more.

FWIW I just pull the ABS fuse instead of dealing with the pedal dance. Just put the fuse back in at the end of the day and have not had any issues.

Increased my front camber from -1.5 to -4.5. A little extreme but the difference was amazing with transitions. I was able to pull out some third gear bank drifts. [ame]http://youtu.be/cv6J8_BQkKY[/ame]

^^ Front camber is amazing for drifting. I run -3 up front now. Once I get the new knuckles installed, I'll end up going to probably -4 and increase caster from 5.9 to 7 degrees.

That track looks kind of fun. Nice bank with a tight infield section

It's amazing how easy this car is to work on, even coming from a 240. ARP wheel studs, BBK, and race seat are next. Best mods for drifting so far was the trailer hitch setup for tires though 😉

@JordanWho are those 17" or 18" regas? I know they made 18 but they're even more rare.

I'm running 17". I wish I could find 18" because my PMU BBK doesn't fit under these 17's unless I'm running 30mm spacers.
