Check engine light and traction light on solid at 1425 miles on the ODO :-( Sitting at the local Toyo service center waiting for the diagnostics.

I'm not feeling all that good right now. I have opened a case with Toyota just to track it. I had an issue a few years back with the first year Dodge Magnum RT. The CEL came on minutes after driving off the lot. After a year of failed attempts at repairing it, Chrysler proclaimed it to be a lemon and refunded my money. I really like the FR-S - I hope Toyota can get it fixed and soon. My garage does not look the same with this RAV4 taking up the space where my FR-S should be sitting...

Well, this suggestion is sort of like shutting the barn door after the horse has gotten out ..... but, in the future, you may consider investing in an inexpensive code reader, so when and if a CEL pops up, you will know what the ECU is concerned about .... sometimes, it's minor.

This way, you will have an idea if it is OK to drive on for a while or shut it down and call for a truck.

Let's hope for the best.

When it comes to code readers, I just go simple and inexpensive. This one has served me well for the past 8 years.

Also, reading and ID-ing the code gives you a "talking point" with the service writer at a dealership....

Drove it about 200 miles today, and with the new high pressure fuel pump installed as per the October 17, 2013 TSB, those damned crickets returned. I have about 1150 miles on the new HP fuel pump
