Firmware # hasn't changed with this datalogging update. It will still be #117. Hardware will always remain unchanged (until a hardware revision I suppose) at #100. You can confirm that your OFT has been updated by just going Diagnostics->My Car-> Realtime Data Display (as shown in the video on our FB page).

Oddly when I open OpenFlash its saying my FW version is 1.16 but the actual tablet says 117. Its also still stuck in Italian. Am I having issues or is it the same for everyone.

Immediately after the firmware update, the Openflash Manager software won't reflect the new FW version version until you quit and launch it again. But your OFT will show it immediately after the update since it automatically reboots itself after the update. But as stated before, this mornings datalogging update won't increment the fw number. It will still be #117 as it has been for a little while.

And yes, the ECU info section is still written in Italian. There is a new update coming out which will provide the ability to store more than 2 maps in the OFT. The language bug will be sorted out then since it's not really an urgent fix at this time.

Ok I figured out my issue. I was still running Flash Manager 1.02 and it didn't seem to want to update when connected. I had to install Flash Manager 1.03 remove the OFT from the computer reconnect it and reopen the Flash Manager. After I did that the OFT updated and I now show FW Ver:117 and it appears to have finished updating everything.

Here's some fun stuff from the OFT's new datagraphics function:

This is an OFT screen capture of 3rd gear pull (2000 to 75000rpm) running the new E85 map:

Green is Engine Speed (RPM)
White is Ignition Advance (Deg)
Blue is MAF (g/sec)
Purple is Air/Fuel Ratio

You can see that MAF looks just like the hp curve with the torque bump at 4500rpm and peak hp at 7000rpm. Timing advance ramps up from low rpm and fills in the relative dips in MAF nicely. And AFR is stable at 12.5-12.8:1 through through the entire rev range with the leanest spot right after the post dip torque recovery. Those who live on the dyno will find all this stuff very familiar

The anticipation of these E85 maps is killing me! Got my tank sitting almost empty waiting for the maps.. Had to put in two gallons this afternoon so I can wait another day

That logging looks very nice. I noticed that the option for 8 months of remote tuning support is gone from your website. Is that gone forever or just until you can catch up on all those remote tunes?

We do need to catch up a bit. And before we reopen the flood gates, I'd like to see some new OFT updates in place to make the process more convenient for the end user.

That's funny, I've been doing the same thing all week.I had to put 4 gallons in today so I can make it through this weekend's autocross. I have all the e85 stations mapped out and http://procedetuning.com/BRZ_FR-S/do...s-4/index.html bookmarked for immediate download. It's kind of sad now that I think about it!
