So they will "attempt" to get my trim and color preference either through what they get allocated and shipped directly to them, or a transfer from one of thier other dealerships in Florida.

I'm not taking just any color, rather I will wait it out until I get one I like... I'm hoping they get a DMG shortly after the other two guys select thier cars.

So you have definitely decided on Limited with DMG and if you like one of the other colours you may also get it? What about Dave and the other guy in your deal? Have they also decided on Limited and certain colours? I'm guessing all 3 of you guys are grabbing manuals right?

Just posted mine. I'm not sure if Will (the other guy) has decided what he wants.

All are manuals as far as I know (I know mine and Wills requirement was a manual, not sure about ZGrinch but I'm pretty sure he wanted a manual also).

That's pretty kickass. I really hope they get a WRB and DGM in for both of you guys.

I'm definitely going to go into the dealership open minded but hopefully I won't be blinded by the fact that I might be able to walk away with a new car that day if I take what's there.

Manual all the way.. I'm like Dave, in that I kinda like the idea that we get to see the colors before we commit, as opposed to a blind pre-order. The only challenge for me is the drive, but when they do get in some cars, I'm planning to make the 3 hour drive, just so I can see the colors, even if it's not my turn yet, that is provided Dave doesn't drive 5 minutes to the dealership and then drive off ten minutes later with his new car!

You got it...and lunch is on me for getting me square on this deal!

My ideal gig would be that somehow they get the trim and color I want at the Sanford location. I can get there in a little over an hour with the gas petal down.

Whoops, referring to the 2014 model. Do you think they'll release that around the springtime or earlier? You mentioned a short worldwide release, and I'm wondering how it'll work for next year's model. Mainly since... 2013 seems to be filled with everyone's pre-order already ~_~:

Lol it's not so bad. My friend wasn't sure what color to order for his Aventador, we spent many many days discussing it. We decided on a color, but in the end, he realized that he loved the car so much, he knew he'd love whatever color he picked. Kinda relieved him of some of the worry. And he had nothing more than photoshopped pictures to go on, and that was 400k on the line, haha.
