Which tool used to hold strut nut? Where can find those?

Thanks for the allen's key. Now, it seems hard to find 14 mm open ended deep socket wrench. Any recommendations? Thanks

Buy one of these:
http://www.northerntool.com/images/p.../228342_lg.jpg

You can use it on the nut while using a 1/4" drive ratchet to hold the damper shaft from spinning. Works fantastic.

I used Craftsman Max Axxess pass-through sockets and the Allen key to hold the strut and undo the top-nut, not unlike what @d1ck posted.

14mm open-ended socket wrench...what? 14mm deep socket: go buy one at Sears or a set on Amazon or something. Open ended wrench? I like my Stanley ones, but Craftsman will be as good. What tool are you actually looking for?

I need a tool to turn the nut. Can I just use my hand to turn the deep socket while holding the allen key?

Thanks I will get craftsman max access.

Yeah, but the pass-through sockets make it so much less hassle.
