I noticed there aren't any girls on this thread so, I figured I would represent. I've had my wheels plasti dipped for about 4 months now I love everything about it. I wanted to go completely custom so I chose seafoam green. They are a pain to clean sometimes but I don't regret anything!

Lots of dipped stocks out there... Not so many dipped aftermarket wheels.

So here's something different for you. Inspired by the J-Racing black and red rocket bunny. Gloss Red Dipped Rays 57DRs.

I already had the Rays and the Toms, and the dip was pretty quick with the help of a talented friend. I'm rather happy with the outcome.

Just putting it out there as a helpful hint, if you have a hard time getting the plastidip off of a painted clean surface (ie not the tires) you've probably put it on too thin. My experience is that it has to be well coated to actually remove easily.

Thinking about doing the metallic one from dipyourcar but before that, I was wondering how long does plasti dip usually last. I don't wanna have peeling too soon.

Not sure if I've posted in here or not but here's mine, 6 super light coats of white on the wheel. NOTE: I'd recommend just masking off your tire and using note cards, I had overspray on my tires and it did NOT want to come off for a while...Had it for about 3 weeks, realized I really liked the stock wheel design, took it off. Planning on either black or bronze for winter.

Home Depot has a few colors. Last I was in there I think I saw white, grey, red, and black.

More like a few weeks, and it's hardly noticeable unless you're super close. Honestly I probably could have figured out a way to clean them better, but I only had this for about a month. Our stock brakes don't give off too much dust, if you're good about washing your car often and want to spend time finding a cleaner that works I'm sure that it could stay very clean.

Is there a way to plasti-dip the wheels in WRB?

I'm thinking of dipping my stock rims orange. I have a dark grey BRZ and was thinking of also dipping the Subaru and BRZ logos. Do y'all think that dipping the spoiler would be too tacky/weird? I'm not sure how it would look.
