Anyone wanna help a brother out and help me install my coils in the next couple weeks? I would do it by myself but the coils I got (kw v3) require removal and re-install of the stock top hats which would be really nice to have another hand for. Thanks,

Thinking probably a week from this coming weekend. It's dependent on when my wheels/tires come in though, too. They should arrive by then. I plan on installing the coils and getting an alignment with the new wheels/tires. I should have more info in the next day or so, waiting on an update from forgestar and modbargains on the status of my wheels

i got the creepiest/weirdest wave from someone today.

i was on 32w passing a truck and behind that truck was a silver or champagne camry or avalon (had sunglasses on + sun glare). i look over to see the guy had sped up beside me to enthusiastically wave & mouth a hello to me. what was even more disturbing was his bowl cut.

Hey Mid-A. I have been very busy and not posting so much, so I thought I'd give an update of what's going on with me, my BRZ, and parts for our cars.

- I do some whittling in my spare time, and recently I whittled this:

Okay, I didn't whittle it. I had it milled from billet aluminum. We now stock these in aluminum and black. $69.

I like the shape of the original, so I made ours just the same profile...just made of aluminum instead of that slightly-tacky-looking plastic.

- I went to the SEMA show. The Corvette Sting Ray was definitely the car of the show, but there were still plenty of 86 cars. Probably 70% of them had the Version 2 Rocket Bunny body kit. There were also a few Varis kits, that weird Subaru variant rebadged as a Scion, and some other cars.

One interesting item at SEMA was a larger Sprintex supercharger. (The Sprintex charger is sold here in the U.S. by Innovate.)

No word yet on when it will be orderable. It will probably add a few hundred dollars to the existing kit price.

- We've started carrying Raceseng parts. In stock are the cam cover plate, the Apex R shift knob, the front tow hook in red, and a couple of other items. They are lovely. Come check them out when you get a chance.

- My own car remains at the same state of tune it has been, which is 218 rwhp. I'm looking to do some different tail lamps, since there are now several different aftermarket looks. I may do some carbon accents, too. Finally, I'm either going to add an intercooler to my existing Innovate supercharger, or methanol injection. Still to be decided...

- I haven't been able to get out to the weekly Fairfax meets since I have a guitar lesson that exactly overlaps. If it ever happens on a Tuesday or Thursday night, I will be there.
