Hi,Yes, I still use original un-cut intake snorkel with the TRD air box.

Can I ask what this gets you over using a modified snorkel that draws air down below where the front grill is.

Kinda like this one:

When I turn on the air condition while waiting on the start line for 10 plus mins, the engine compart got really hot, and air intake temperature went to 70C. I think it is no good. So I think I need to vent the hood.

After venting the hood, all temperature got drops pretty good.



Kinda like this one:
If I use the cold air intake above, without vented the engine compartment. I believe the cold air will be heated by engine compartment.
