Here is a redesign of the lower bracket. I made it a two part piece to had dimension, there are voids to try and reduce the weight with out effecting strength. I thought about doing a pretty design but you cant see it when its installed. Also the brackets for the top mounts where increased in thickness. Making the brace fit with a functional back seat is definitely a compromise in design.

Yeah its pretty awesome, I had it made to my specs in Finland or something. They also do ones with integrated T3 flanges but it doesn't really work for our platform.

Handy guy like you, I'm surprised you aren't going all out with an air/water intercooler for max efficiency.

Welded up the manifold today, turbo mounted up.
![]() ![]() The 5 bolt housing is only for mock up, a V-band housing is on the way. Then I can build the down pipe and decide how to route the waste gate

Awesome build! Looking forward to seeing the finished product! Go ahead and take your time though, it seems to be well worth the results.

Thanks, I am in no rush. There is going to be a pause here coming up after I finish the hot side fabrication.

Last pic of the day, punching the hole for the external is proving tricky. Here is the small tear drop stub I made to mount the flange.
