Just make sure you stay on track or bring some more extra money, haha. It has some nice elevation changes and a couple blind corners. I don't know that it is worth more than any other track. I can't wait to get to race there this February.

I have been to Barber, but not for a track day. It is awesome there. It just like about 100 to 150 dollars more than any other track HPDE I have seen.

I beat up on a bunch of TT 300zx at Z Nationals last year in a 2013 V6 Mustang I rented at the Atlanta Airport

They asked how the rental was when I returned it. I just told them the brakes felt a little weird.

Not surprised.

That's cheap. PCA is cheap for two days usually. Some events I know they lost money at

Swapped brake fluid and track pads yesterday. This baby is all set for VIR!!

When bedding in these pads last night I was able to easily engage ABS when going 70-80 mph. The future does not bode well for these Michelin Primacy tires.

Just registered for Barber MSP with Alabama PCA Dec 14-15.

Hampton Inn by the track is all booked up so I booked a room at Americas Best Value Inn right around the corner. It's half the price of the Hampton at $50/night but the reviews are dismal. Anyone stayed here before? I'm not picky about cleanliness; I just want a good nights sleep.

I am jealous. Road Atlanta on the 6th worked out better for me schedule wise. I talked to a guy wearing an AMP shirt at cars and coffee last weekend. He said that Barber is like AMP, but better.

Nasa Southeast has posted their 2014 schedule. It has Barber on it!

It is actually a combined NASA Southeast and Mid South event at Barber. Any of you DEers that want to run Barber with NASA better sign up as soon as it opens up or you may get left out. I will definitely be there racing my SpecE30 as well as at the East Coast Nationals at Road Atlanta and Daytona (combined Southeast and Florida) in November.

Does mid south run there often? I want to go so hopefully I can register early.
