South East Track Days: Info and Resources

I had a ton of fun at the iTrack event @ AMP 2 weekends ago, along with some of the other folks on here.

So, I figured we could start a thread on upcoming track days that are open for people to join (HPDEs and such) in the southeast. We can have a nice central location for all the info, as now its kind of scattered.

If you know of any coming up, post them up.

I've seen two locally.

NASA SE is doing one @ Road Atlanta, March 8-10.

Chin Motorsports is doing one @ Road Atlanta, March March 18.

Though in both of those cases you need to be a member of those respectives orgs, I believe.

Thoughts?

This is a great idea. Now we can consolidate all the events together.

Second, I'm not sure about NASA, but the SCCA lets you purchase a weekend membership if you are not a regular member.

I was wondering about a thread like this the other day as well.

Given that I'm interested in trying to attend events next year.

Good idea! Peachstate PCA's 2013 schedule hasn't been finalized and posted yet, but I hear one of the first events of the year will be an Advanced Solo DE paired with a Club race at Atlanta Motorsports Park in February.

Unofficial PCA date list for Road Atlanta:

March 22-24: Club Race and Advanced Solo DE
June 1-2: Normal format DE
August 10-11: Normal format DE
October 26-27: Normal format DE

Ok So I live in Georgia and Im from South Carolina, and Im wondering about how one gets onto a track and all the fees they have to pay! Im not familiar with NASA, so if any of you would like to fill me in, I would appreciate it!

Thanks for the info. I'll have to make the drive from Chattanooga.

Where in Georgia and how far are you willing to drive?

I'm signed up for the VIR North Course HPDE event with the Tarheel Sports Car Club on April 6-7.

It's not the cheapest event around, but THSCC always runs a good show. Hopefully I won't be the only one there in a BRZ/FRS.
