Eibach Sportlines requirements

Hi all,

I am getting a good deal on some Eibach Sportlines. I was just wondering what else do i need to have the correct camber. The last thing I want is inside or uneven tire wear.

From what i have read on the forum I need to go with the following:

Front - Whiteline camber bolts
Rear - Whiteline rear camber adjustment bushing kit (KCA 326) OR lca (someone recommended SPC but I am a bit concerned about the quality of them unless I am wrong and they have changed their design (to a one solid arm).

Anyone that has done theirs? What did you install afterwards to correct the camber front and back?

The SPC arms are solid and have been for quite some time now.

For the Eibach Sportline in particular would the whiteline camber adjustment do the job? or i need to go with LCA's?

Bushings are a pita and very labor intensive. Been there done that go LCA IMO.

Ok, so I am getting the SPC lca's for the rear, SPC crusher bolts for the fronts and the KCA 435 for the front (to maintain or at least bring it closer to the geometry of the car). my question is, considering the 1.4 drop, do i need to get the rear adjustable toe arms to be able to adjust the toe to 0 or slight negative? i dont want to get an uneven tire wear and play too much with the geometry of the car.

Sportline guys out there, did you get the rear adjustable toe arms to keep the alignment within the stock limits? (or close)

I got 0 toe without aftermarket toe arms. I didn't even have to change the stock toe bushings to the ones that come with the SPC LCAs.

I'm planning on getting sportlines too, 18" wheels staggered. I was only planning on getting the springs. Will I need to buy control arms, etc or will I be okay without them? My car is just for normal driving, no track or anything.

How hard is to replace the toe arms?

You do not NEED the LCA, but you will be running about -2 degrees of camber without them.

You really do not need to change any part related to rear toe.

Well, i dont want to run -2 degree camber really as I would like to keep the balance of the car as much as possible. With the drop, the toe is also affected which will lead to uneven tire wear which, as per my original post is the last thing I want. Lowering the car beyond the 1" will require some modifications to maintain the geometry of the suspension.

And I am telling you that I did not need to buy toe arms to zero my toe. I am at ~1 degree camber in the rear which is within factory specs.

I have SPC control arms. They come with optional toe bushings that increase the range adjustment, but they weren't needed either.

Do you have the Sportlines on yours?

As far as I read on the forum, it seems that with the Sportlines, there is no way you could get within the factory specs without getting adjustable lca's so for SPC will do the trick! My only concern is that by going that low i might need to get the adjustable toe arms and I thought i would do it while i am at it.

Factory settings still has some toe, so no it isn't exactly zero, but it is at the factory setting. I could have gotten better front settings, but I forgot to install the bolts...

I do not really have before and after pics, but this is where it is at with the settings shown.
