Nice! So is the CF weave perfectly aligned so you can just leave it with the clearcoat?
I know some production CF parts are not meant to look "perfect" in use so some get painted.

And I would imagine that some problems that come from painting is not removing the mold release agent (PVA) from the part thoroughly during paint prep.

Just as others have said, take it to another painter because the person you have looking at it shouldn't be handling paint equipment let alone a carbon hood.

anyone know a good paint shop near me in maspeth queens
