That's funny because I looked around online and read a ton of positive feedback from the buyers. I'll tell you when they advertise show quality. It's true! Very nice and even. The lines of the fiber are as straight as cannot be. I've seen people drive by with hoods that look like a 2 year old layer the fibers down! Lol |

nice! I know in the video you mention the hood is
"unbelievably light compared to the factory hood" There was another thread that someone had with seibon hoods and the weight savings was negligible. (used scale) about a .1 or .2 lb difference. Are you sure it was unbelievably light compared to stock?

Itis a significant difference.. You can actually really feel a huge difference between this vs style hood and factory! Maybe because of the huge hole in the middle of it? As apposed to a same style carbon hood? I just know when I took of the factory hOod I used two hands and a friend to help. Carrying the other hood out to the car I used one hand and could have installed it solo with one hand. Lol

Depends if dry or wet carbon version. Wet (the cheaper) is practically same as stock. I have the wet FA style. Perfect fit, but same weight

when I had originally ordered and purchased the hood it said shipping date between three and 4 business days. The Weeknd had cleared and I receive no confirmation when I contacted the company it was then changed to 6 to 8 weeks before shipping. Maybe they upgraded me as it took them approximately three and a half weeks before shipped out. But I'm telling you there is a huge difference from the factory hood and the hood I purchased. Original price online was almost $900 on sell for 600 and 60 shipping included.

maperformance has the vs hood listed at 14.55lbs,
stock is 15.4lbs About a lbs savings if maperformance is right. the seibon dry carbon hood goes for 2000+
