ok so I somewhat peeled a tiny part of my plastidip already. (lol) What place do you guys recommend to get my wheels painted?
Preferably a place that I can leave my car there in the morning and drive it home by night kind of thing.

Paint takes longer to set properly. I would look into powdercoating them instead. That can done in one day, they will need to be sandblasted as they are powdercoated already(if they are stock) then coated and baked for awhile. Better option as powdercoating is much more durable. And it can be done for about 100$ a wheel. In many different colors. With paint your gonna wanna wait a day or so for it to fully cure to hold up to road debris. Im also plastidipping mine this weekend or next week.

I spun out drifting earlier in a hangar hitting the ramp curb on my rear wheel. I dont see any damages so far other than a part of my plastidip on my wheels peeled. for 100 buck a wheel I might as well get rotas lol.

If they are just drift spares who cares what they look like? They will get banged up and damaged anyways.

Have your stockers be your drift wheels and then buy a really nice set of wheels to daily drive on.

Ahh yes I remember those comments to my self just a month or so ago....

I can't help it this car is just to much fun. I have really put a lot of thought into selling the Vette putting some money into my Savings, IRA and a few other odd's and ends. Then taking the rest and buying more parts for both a new project and the FR-S. Having another car so that when I break this one I have a back up... I have a few on the list so far.
1) That Orange FR-S @jeffsides told us about, if I can find it. Not sure O'rielly's will be able to access that auction. This one would get an LS or 2J depending on which is lighter. (I am assuming LS)
2) RX8 to do an LS Swap
3) RX7 FD to do an LS Swap
4) BMW M3 to do an LS Swap
5) BMW Z3 to do an LS Swap
6) RWD Mazda Conversion from Probe Talk, might not do an LS Swap lol
7) S14 240SX to do an LS Swap
8) S2000 to build or do an LS Swap
9) Just buy an old Muscle Car and build that with an LS Swap.
10) Be lazy and just buy the Firehawk I always wanted.

As you can see I have been looking around and really thinking about what I would do. I would have more than enough to accomplish it but the fact of the matter is... is that what I want to do? Guess we will find out what happens in the next few months.

Anyway I am rambling... gotta get to work.

Because I've spent a lot on certain thing that I can't afford the nice wheels I want plus it has to be presentable for the bash lol

Toyota hasn't even picked that frs up from the dealership yet. It's still in the back lot collecting dust. As soon as I see it's gone, I'll let you know

Nice wheels dont necessarily have to be expensive.

UPS guy shows up today, and I am in the garage doing the aerocatch install....he says, "Too bad my son isn't with me, he loves these...We go to the pavs and there is always some club with like 20 of these sitting out there"...Then he hangs out for 20 minutes talking about the car.

And I'll be damned if I didn't measure 10 times at least, and still ended up just under half a cm off on one side....bleh
