An adaptor was needed for the BRZ. Use coupon code"RVS20OFF" to make the mirror/adaptor combination cheaper. The old mirror rotates counter clockwise to remove while the new mirror wants to slip over a slightly different attachment. The adaptor is bigger than I expected but is blocked from view once installed (unless you're looking for it behind the mirror). There is another thread here on different options.
