Yes... there is nothing illegal about yellow head lights. Red and/or blue is the only color I think that is illegal. I've seen yellow hid's, pink hid's, blue hid's and purple hid's are stock on some exotic vehicles.

How about smoke (light)?
Will cause the problem during the safety inspectionor any ticket issue?
Thanks.

I don't if it varies from state to state, but I'm sure there is a certain lumens of brightness that a headlight must have inorder to maintain a safety requirement for road standards. Just as there is a too bright, there is also too dim... If you meet the states requirements for brightness, I'd just go ahead and do it. If they try to warn or ticket you for the smoke tint, just show them that it meets required code, and your documentation to prove it and I would imagine you would be ok.

Did you use lamin-x for those headlights? I just tried installing the lamin-x for the FR-S and I could not get it aligned properly. Any tips?

Sorry for the late response, but it was actually a full roll of yellow film so it gave me a lot more to work with and i just cut it so it fits.

We have the Lamin-X on our BRZ and I love them! I did not do the install so I cannot comment on that, but the light output at night is still perfect, just a bit more yellow lol.

Thanks,
Rick

I can't speak for the states but up here that would be illegal. Yes yellow lighting coming from the front of our cars is legal, but any kind of coloured film on our actual headlights are not but like i said thats just around here

get the lamin-x tint on their web page and either install it yourself and find the window tinting shop to do it. I had my headlight yellow tinted couple months at the window tinting shop local in my area. they did a great job on it.
