Any issues with police with the yellow film? I currently have a plug in play HID kit but I might swap back to halogens and slap on that yellow film. Would look great with a whiteout frs.

I would think the local constabulary would be a bit narrow minded about the yellow film. France used to require yellow headlights, which I thought were great because it enhanced the contrast of the lights and made things a bit easier to see.

I've driven by cops no problem, I haven't put HIDs on or anything. So I'm not really blinding anyone, they're just yellow.

So it changes the beam to yellow. Even with HIDs?

@Bluebatmobile ... are there overlays for the signals too? Or are those just yellow lights?

I like the overlays instead of yellow hid's because I want them yellow even with the lights off. Going to do DRL delete and 6k standard hid's with yellow overlays.

I got suggestion from switchlanez mentioned that “I found any overlay will increase the potential for cracks to form in the lens. So I took them off. When temperature changes, the lens expands/contracts at a different rate than the overlay because they are different materials. Since they are mated together, one has to give way. The overlay usually has some flexibility and gives way. But when it's not flexible enough, the lens will form cracks.”

How you guys think?
I am still try to make decision between overlay and spray paint .
Thanks.

How yellow does the actual output become (like the color the road is when lit up)? Is it that super deep yellow you see with some people's fogs? Or is it pretty much the same halogen yellow?
