Already answered for the most part, but one thing I should point out - for an extra $195, you too can get back and forth logging/fine tuning with the OFT for 8 months. From the product website:

Quote:
For those who want a more customized tune with even more performance than our Off-The-Shelf (OTS) maps provide, this 8 month support contract includes ongoing datalog review/analysis and up to 12 customized tuning files. You simply email us the datalogs (as generated by the OpenFlash Tablet and/or Procede), and we provide you with custom tuned ROM/Procede files to match your needs, modifications and operating conditions. Compared to using our free OTS map files, expect more power, even smooth boost control and peace of mind knowing that your engine is tuned properly by actual tuning professionals and NOT by inexperienced enthusiasts. More importantly, we provide you with fully viewable custom tune files. Unlike some "Pro Tuners", we do not believe in hiding anything from our customers. You are paying for both performance and knowledge of what is being done to your vehicle

Tune turnaround time aside, has anyone ever placed an order and not recieved tracking info after a few weeks? Emailed/pm'd with a response it was being shipped on the 15th, payment recieved on the 10th.... and nothing so far.

The parts also require an updated tune, but no dice on that front either.

Hopefully they are just really busy and I hear something this week.

9:00am 10/28/13 - I received my cable.

9:51am 10/28/13 - I emailed them immediately to get my file. - No response.

+-1:30pm 10/28/13 - Called - was told that they were REALLY busy and hadnt had time to respond to my email.

7:30pm 10/28/13 -Did not hear yet, so I emailed again - No response

+-4:30pm 10/29/13 - Called - left voice mail - No Response

+-11:00am 10/30/13 - Sent email through their website system - As of 4:33pm - No response

Apparently all I am waiting for is a GoogleDoc to fill out to get my software. I assume this is a simple link that they have to send me, that requires almost no work on their part.

If sending me a simple google doc is this difficult, what is getting a file going to be like?

Do not tag me in any threads please the server is not sending any Notifications to either myself or Andy until its resolved posting in the form will not have a immediate response time. You best bet is to use the phone like we have continued to preach over the last couple of months. if you dont get us hang up and try again later it will ultimately be faster than waiting for a email response when we have upto 150+ messages coming in daily that i have to answer myself along with tune your cars process orders work on vehicles etc. their are only 2 of us not an entire empire as some might think so patience is key. considering how many you are and our final product still delivers as promised we would rather not sacrifice quality by having anyone other than myself tune your vehicle. but there will be some significant changes coming along soon for expedite the process for you guys right after SEMA.

You are almost guaranteed to be leaving 5-8% total gains on the table running any base file. You cant specifically build a single map to suite every available application out there considering that the intake options alone make for a wide variety of afr results when loaded. This is why we tune each vehicle specifically. As well as geographic location based on elevation and ambient temps to match to fuel types. 93 octane in TX isnt the Same as 93 octane in FL so to maximize engine output fine tuning or dyno tuning is the recommended method. OFT maps are provided so youll buy the product if there were no maps you would end up having to get your car tuned. Cosidering ECUFLASH/RomRaider have made more progress logging etc and a lower priced of entry that will be a better route.
