Well my drive was 11 hrs. Thats not to bad. I once had a car done by TPC racing out in Maryland. I picked up my car at 9am, hit the road by 10am EST. Then i drove 18 hours straight to Oklahoma City. I got in around 3:30am CST. That wasnt too fun. But it is always worth it, to have a car done right. You live with that everyday. One long drive is only for a day or too.

I spied your car when i dropped my car off two weeks ago at FBM. Apparently you left for Cali just a few minutes before I showed last Saturday to pick up my ride. Glad you got back alright.

@brzappi

I really enjoyed the thread, especially the post on your experience after you got the car. I've been looking for someone to describe the fx400 clutch like you did. Usually you get short answers like "it's heavier feeling." It was nice to hear something a bit more easy to gauge/relate to.

Ahh I got a (crappy) pic with yours parked behind me. It really was a ridiculous drive but getting my car back weeks before a truck could pick it up is worth it to me. Bravo to you for getting used to the clutch so quick...wish I could say the same lol

I try to help. The experience so subjective it is hard to get a point across to someone who really wants to know. But I try.

I know it. Trucks can take 2 to 3 months to get around to your car. I have only used one once and the experience was good except the price and the wait. I love that I am already smooth with it. I don't care how perfect I moved my left foot on my twin clutch, that damn thing was unforgiving. It was tough, but no fun. The girlfriend refused to ride in that car after a while.
