Wonder what most of you doing Pre-orders will do regarding colors? Just hope it looks like it does in the pics in real life? Or wait for dealer to get some colors in (doubt cars stay around for long).

Well, I've gone to the dealer to see colors on other Subie cars to narrow my choices, and since we really can't preorder exactly (at least in the beginning ), I have instead let them know a few colors I'm interested in, in the order I think I'm interested. Since I'm third on the list, I think I will have a chance to see 1 or 2 before its my turn. I have basically narrowed it down to DMG or black, but I'm going to see it person before I hand over a check.

Ballsy to go black. I think it will look great but hate black on black in the summer.

I think this is where I feel luckier than some other people, because I actually got to see the color I want and I got to sit in it to confirm the things that I like, I will keep on doing my best with the auto shows, I hope that with the information I gain others will get the chance to see the color they want, before the cars show up on the lot

Honestly... I want a BRZ because I've followed it the longest, I remeber a long time ago I used to argue with Toyota people. And they would tell my, Toyota will have the 86 Subaru coming out with a RWD car is Bull. But I always told them and belive and now look BRZ are running around and this has been years. That and I love this forum and the people on it, I think I've found a good car community to come to something I haven't experience since EPhatch kind of died off after 07.
Anyways to make the long story short, believe me when I say.... I really only would go with an FRS because I can't afford a BRZ premium. And that I got the FRS because it's the next best thing to a BRZ. To me. not to say the FRS is bad but it's not my first choice. I think I'm allowed that lol I love the FRS, the 86 and the BRZ almost all equally. But there's just a place in my heart for that smiley of the BRZ. I hope that makes sense. lol sorry for rambling. btw... I think it's a Silver FRS in Chicago... I think some shots of it started to appear on Twitter. Not sure if it's just another reblog of Detroit or it's actually Chicago.

At least the other colours aren't horrible though. I really can't get behind the red at all though. Gives it kind of a cheap look imo. |

I only speak from experience cause I have black on black. Looks stealthy with tints when clean but gets dirty and hot like an oven in the summer. Partly why I like idea of SWP.

Honestly I don't know why I'm going with Silver again it's the third car I wanted in silver and it's funny because I've always wanted a RED car! lol I can't decide between the two color. It basically came down to RED FRS and SILVER BRZ

I here ya loud and clear. Do you think the DMG is going to be any cooler than black? I don't think so, and that color in person is awesome, at least on the other Subies I've seen. If that darn silver was several shades darker, I think that would be the way to go for me. Maybe I'll change my mind if I ever get to see one in person.
