Bluetooth is flaky with the BRZ nav.

Intermittently it'll connect and won't show song titles (and the nav unit skip buttons won't work). Turning the car off and then on again always fixes this. I've checked the Bluetooth settings and only have one phone listed. I've also experienced this equally intermittently with iOS 6, prior to upgrading to iOS 7.

Never had this issue in two other cars, both with different Bluetooth factory stereos.

Has IOS 7.0.3 fixed anything? I finally fixed the display/control issues with stock stereo by resetting is as suggested, but it still doesn't always resume playback from where it last left off like it did with IOS 6.

I updated to ios 7 and had similar issues. I dealt with it for a week, then I did a great deal of research and found the fix.

1. Turn off the blue tooth under settings on your phone.
2. Close all back ground aps on your phone ( dounble click home button and swipe)
3. Hard reboot your phone by holding the home button and the lock button at the same time for ~10 seconds. Wait until you see the aple logo and the phone reset.
4. Get in your FRS/ BRZ and makeyour head unit forget your bluetooth device. Then turn your key off and back on.
5. Go to your phone and turn the bluetooth back on.
6. pair the phone and the head unit. Your screen playback controls on the phone and the head unit should all work together now.

Let me know if this helps with a thanks!
It worked for me!
I have the touch screen upgrade in the FRS.

I tried resetting the bluetooth on my iphone 4s (ios 7.0.3), and I'm still facing the track resume issues. (Everytime i get in the car, it starts playback at the first song of an album/playlist and no longer resumes at the track it last left off.)

How do you make the head unit forget the device on the stock unit? I noticed that it was no longer paired with the Bluetooth device and needed to be re-synced, but the unit still listed my phone as its device. Is this the issue?
