iphone IOS 7 blue tooth
I just updated my iPhone to the new ISO 7. I am now having problems with the blue tooth. It will connect okay but some of the features are not working. I contacted apple about this problem. They informed me that i needed a firmware update for my stereo. Has anyone updated there stereo.I have the dealer looking in to this.

features
I have the touch screen stereo. The play button, pause, advance arrows, as well the when you first turn on the car the music used to start playing right away. Now I have to go in to my iphone and hit play. as will as for the above noted options.

mine wasn't working correctly either. I looked up TSIB's at work but did not see one for a firmware update in the FRS.
A few days later it started working just fine. |
Search and you'll find the other thread about this. Pretty common problem now. Mine won't display some song titles.

There's an issue with ios 7 lock screen controls. These have affected all of my Bluetooth devices as well, including my car.

update
I will wait and see what the dealer comes up with. Today more of the options started working but not all. Plus the display would not display the song info. Unless I advanced to the next song. :)

Ajcacio Have you been able to fix this problem

I am also experiencing the issues described. No longer does the music start on it's own, can't use the seek/play/pause, etc. Basically all it will do is connect and display the song info. None of the buttons on the stereo actually work. I have the standard setup.
I heard that iOS 7 was introducing some new in-car features for certain makes/models, so maybe the firmware will have to be updated for everything to go back to normal. Hopefully we will have a fix soon... |

I use my iPod to listen to music in my car... I haven't updated it, and I would rather not until necessary. My dad usually connects his iPhone 4S to my car, it worked fine then he updated it and then some features stopped working. It's fine now.

My 4S doesn't continue playing from the song it left off on any more. I have the stock base model stereo system. It's a minor thing, but it gets old when the album starts at the same track every time I get in the car.

I also have the base model stereo. Prior to iOS 7, my phone would automatically keep playing whatever song it was on when the car stopped. The seek buttons < > would also skip to the next song. This worked with the iPhone's built-in music as well as stuff like Pandora.
Now, with my iPhone 5 running iOS 7, it will still stream to the stereo, but it does NOT start playing automatically, where it left off. Also, the seek buttons no longer do anything in iTunes or Pandora. So far it hasn't had any issues displaying song information. I could really use a fix as this. Maryland recently passed strict anti-phone laws and I now have to use my phone to skip songs. edit - plugging it in via the USB input results in the same problem. in addition, through this method the song info seems to come and go. |
I also have the same problems you guys are talking about :(
