It does look like the 80mm system dips pretty low as it goes under the rear crossmember. This looks like it might be a scraping point on lowered cars.
I'm wondering if there'd be any performance loss if one were to flatten the tubing at the crossmember to gain some ground clearance. I know it's almost sacriligous to do something like that to such a beautiful exhaust, but it may come down to that, or a seriously scraped up pipe. Not sure which would be worse. |

You able to get a measurement of the ground clearance on the 80 system at all?
Cheers. Everyone who is looking at the 80 system what 3" overpipe/downpipe are you all running? Or thinking of connecting up to this system?

We'll be sticking the 80 on our race car.
For those worried about scraping, raise the car up. ![]() There is only one way to route an exhaust one this car to the rear, and you have to go under that brace. So take that brace and measure 3.5 inches down from it right below the diff. Thats where this will hang.

How would you predict the 60R to sound on Borla headers with the Tomei Ti front pipe? Raspy?

The latter, haha! Still curious though. I'm predicting it to sound pretty awful, but since you've actually heard the catback in person, you'll definitely have a better guess than me.

![]() i found your vids more helpful with your commentary and in-car driving clips. good stuff keep it going. some more info on the silencers would be greatly appreciated. i actually need something perrin res. quiet for my commute but i definitely like the weight savings you get with tomei exhausts. |
