I'm in desperate need of a decent set of pads before 9/28 but I also need good initial bite.
Not yet, I'm waiting on my new rotors to come in. I am running the same cabrotech xp-10 pad in the rears. It's hard to analyze the bite back there. My only complaint is they are quite squeaky. However, given the molten lave that came off my wilwood bp-30 pads and destroyed my wheels, I'm looking forward to them.

Yeah I saw the photos. That sucks. According to Carbotech the dust is supposed to be non-corrosive. I spoke with CSG_Mike before ordering and he said that it'a possible to get these completely quite if you bed them really well. I hope I can do that with stock horse power.

No new updates, I've been too busy with other things but I did receive my new rotors and all supporting brake replacement parts:

How much mods did you need to do to fit the perrin CAI with the Innovate SC Kit?

My guess is because that's the terminology used when discussing motorcycle disc rotors that use floating brake rotor buttons.

Swift is running the Wilwood BBKit which uses a two piece rotor but it is not a floating rotor. As for weight saving BBKs can sometimes save weight over the OEM kit, but a two piece rotor's primary purpose is not for weight saving but for reducing the transfer of heat.

@M1K3 Thanks, I know what a floating disc is, just didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the thread. Perhaps I missed it.

None, fits without any modification. Only downside is you have to remove the front bumper to install. However, it sounds much better.

Shaved 16lbs per corner. (rotor and caliper weight savings)

Update:
Well I finally got time to change my brakes out. Unfortunately, as I went to do the other side rotor I realized Wilwood messed up and sent me two of the same rotors not side specific although the paper work had the different part numbers listed. Who ever packaged them must have grabbed the wrong one. A little frustrating since it's my only car and the old rotors aren't safe to drive on.

Two 12287 part numbers, should have a 12288 in there too:

4 track days, VIR really tore them up. I was also running a very extreme race pad that just ate the rotors away. Only had them on for about 6 months (~8k miles).

Wow; still even that seems excessive. I've got 7 track days on the OEM rotors with aggressive race pads and they've still got a ridiculous amount of rotor life left in terms of minimum thickness; although I think they'll crack before they get lower than the minimum thickness. Is that normal, even with race pads on track, to wear rotors that quickly with the Wilwood kit?
