While scrolling on my iphone I always accidentally hit thanks on random posts, and then delete right after... Wonder if people get thanks notifications then get bummed when theirs actually nothing... Not even from there own mother.

The Discover IT card sure does make you feel special. It comes in a really pretty, solid package. And when you call to activate it a real person answers the phone, just to activate it. I know their commercials promise real people every time you call, but I didn't expect it for activation.

Also, I'm surprised I've never been yelled at to slow down around here. There's a ton of families in my subdivision and I'll admit, I have a tendency to go relatively fast leaving and entering, though if I see any kids out playing I always go slower and keep my eyes on them, particularly if they're playing with any sort of ball that might bounce into the road.
Apparently, last Halloween my brother got yelled out, quite loudly by a woman to slow down in the subdivision when he wasn't going very fast, and he drives a little Tacoma. My mom actually called to warn me about the woman on my drive home. I didn't have the FR-S then, though.

Now this is purely speculation so don't take it seriously. Maybe the management want to *keep* you happy in the current job with raise and assistance, with potential to grow to a better employee, while finding some ways to get rid of the unionized people. I got the impression that management do not like unionized employee, and I could be way wrong on this. As I said, the management has to find some way to pay for the *market adjustment* in their budget so cutting people is the quickest way. Well, just take the raise and be happy about it. I know the feeling when you get raise and others don't. Do not feel bad for others or superior for yourself and just do the work and keep low on profile.

Hrm...
Last night I decide to go to an large empty parking lot at an unnamed location and tested out the limits of my car. Burned rubber smells pretty bad. Also my car has so much body roll. Also, even with the crap tires on my car, I didn't lose control when yanking the steering wheel abruptly and pressing the brakes at 45mph, thus I learned that I am too much of a ***** to actually drive at the limits of the car. Then I get back and my door latch is jammed, and I break my key in half trying to turn it -_- So I idly drove around and gave my car some more E85. Now, I have over 5 gallons of E85 in there (I have trouble telling how much gas is in the tank, but I would guess that this makes for 40% ethanol), and the engine is purring smoother than ever :3 |
