Tie into the power antenna connector. Therefore every time the head unit is on (only drawback) esc is on.

The one in the engine compartment. I wouldn't have any trouble finding one in the fuse box under the left side of the dash. Rob had recommended the fuse box right by the controller.

12v from the DRL relay maybe? Always on unless the ebrake is pulled.

Yes, the DRL would work perfectly as it is a switched output. Make sure you use the protected side of the fuse.

BTW the circuit is always on with the ignition, it is a relay that turns off the DRL with the ebrake.

Should we use a fuse tap on there? Two days and I already left the switch on once.

OK, I just did some poking around in the engine compartment fuse box to find a fuse circuit that was switched with the ignition. Unfortunately DRL is not available in the engine compartment fuse box. Many of the circuits that I thought may be fused (like washer, wiper, mirror defogger...) are only active when the device is powered. But I did find one that is switched with the ignition yet is always active. Circuit number 28, ECU (a 15A breaker) is switched with the ignition and active.

Sojhinn, I would use a fuse tap. I would also recommend using an in-line 5A fuse as the fuse for the ECU will not protect the control line for the ESC. Further, I wouldn't want a dead short in the ECU control line to bring down the ECU circuit.

@Robftss, if we use the DPDT relay as shown in post #2399, will it still fit through the sound tube hole in the firewall? If not this will have to be soldered in place or we will need to fashion some type of connector in the harness so the DPDT relay can be removed to feed the wire and then inserted once in place.

I show circuit 28 to be an EFI fuse. Is this the one you are referring to?

Is the cigarette lighter outlet in the glove box switched? I'm guessing it is, and the glove box/behind the glove box would be a fine place to stash a relay.

With this in mind, even a 5 amp fuse is excessive. The relay contacts are rated at 5 amps. The coil draw is ~70 milliamps. A one amp fuse is plenty.

When I test #28 I get 12V readings from both sides with the ignition off.
