I will help fund your upgrade by buying your stock axles if they aren't too damaged.

Yeah, it's a dumb rule since the DSS axles are heavier, they'd actually slow me down.

It's there to stop people from getting baller with custom carbon fiber axles, but still...

Can't petition a weight disadvantage so you don't waste so much money on axles?

Im really interested in people breaking OEM axles with near-stock power in such a short amount of time. Even on the track with a 200whp turbocharged miata I never had a problem. And if my memory serves me correctly, the OEM mazda axles hold up just fine in 250-300hp drift miatas as well.

Let's be honest here, is it actually possible to break anything on a Miata?

I still don't believe how fast he said I was going...at least it was still a civil violation.

I think it has more to do with the axle design, diff position, and angle. as in... the suspension geometry at the time NOT the power. I broke mine in turn with ~25% throttle... I hit a dip when it broke, mind you this was a very small dip but it was a dip in the road. All of this power of mine and i break it at low throttle in a turn? hhmm... Sounds like something else to me :P Sure I could have weakened them with the power but all of the other people have no where near what I am putting down and they snap them from drifting etc.

At least the fix wasn't too much more than OEM replacements. Its sad it cost so much to do. Hopefully someone like DSS will make a simple CV replacement setup that has a higher performance rating.

So I just got off the phone with the creator of FT86Nation. It's the weekend after AZ86BASH. Does anyone plan on taking the trip to SoCal for this event. I worked out a discount program with anyone from AZ that attends. Just putting some feelers out there to see who has interest on going. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1382571724.364739.jpg

Text or PM me if you are thinking about going.

Installed my sub and seems like the amp isn't sending it enough power. It's barely flexing doesn't make sense. And on another note I seriously wish I could turn the crappy bass in the front speakers off completely
