last time I seen you I think you were running 225s on stock rims. and I agree for those the pressures are to low. we have one event left in November 9th and tenth come down for the weekend it will be fun.

also I know you think the surface jacked your alignment last time but in 3 years of using this site I never had that issue.

if you come down on Friday I can give you a tour of volition. you would have fun.

I am on 235s now not much different really. I know your pavement was very bumpy most guys run a softer setup?

Cool video.

Lot of movement of the swaybar/chassis bushing, especially considering the small-ish range of motion of the swaybar to begin with.

Also interesting that the subframe doesn't move that much laterally, it seems to be mostly vertical. I installed subframe bushing inserts on my GR STI and it seemed to really make the rear end more responsive and predictable.

Interesting video and interesting to see your pressure/camber settings. A soft tire and stiff suspension seems kind of basackwards to me though as the tire is largely undamped. Just from experience, take a well damped car with high spring rates and through soft tires on it and it will be bouncy as hell.

I can't tell if there is actual subframe flex or if it's just the large amount of bushing flex causing it to look like subframe flex. There are definitely a couple spots where it looks like more then just bushing flex though.

Who else makes bushings for the rear other then whiteline? After they screwed everyone with the com-c's top hats I don't want to give them anymore money. They didn't even test them other then seeing if they mounted up. I can idmagine it was the same with the bushings considering how fast they got them out. I just don't trust them.

Powerflex has a whole line up of inserts and bushings @ powerflexusa dot com. Note that some products overlap (inserts and complete bushing replacement).

Edit: I think Energy Suspension also just finished their bushing package for the 86's according to their Sept. 30th Facebook entry.

Ha thats not even the point of the video. Just showing what the RCE springs/Konis look like when at work.

Actually the opposite. I was having issues with the car wanting to step out on me when hitting the bumps and becoming unsettled in the rear with a softer setup.

As soon as I went to a stiffer setup the car was much more stable. Everything is just damped better. Rebound is better ect.

I don't know if its a combo of the stiffer springs all around or the shocks helping. Since I never had them on with out each other cant really say.

I felt like on the stock suspension it was borderline too stiff for that pavement there. I mean the was hopping over all the pavement irregularities. Namely closer to the big hanger. I would be running almost full soft if I did it again.

Whiteline camber bolts for now. Had the same when I was on aftermarket tophats.

I run the tire so close to the spring perch to get that much camber most people would be un comfortable with it. If the bolt slipped there could be issues. I can only fit my credit card and drivers lisence in between the rim and spring perch.

That's with my 245/40 rs3s on the rpf1 17x9 +35 rims. If I had the 45s I'd be screwed.

That looks pretty normal, it'd move a lot more with the factory bushings! Looks like the hanger isn't straight up and down though, but it could be the angle of the camera.
