Which is why I think 'what these guys really want is a diesel' when I read those complaints. Then I laugh at the ridiculousness of the concept, and move on. Sometimes, though, I just feel pity for human nature of being dissatisfied with what one could have and wanting either 'just a bit more hp, give it 20-30 hp more and it would be perfect', or 'it should cost a few grand less, and it would be perfect'. Either way, reading these does not make me enjoy my car one bit less. |

It doesn't bother me one bit as the main reason I purchased the car is for commute purposes with a little spirited driving. I don't have intentions on shattering records or looking cool going over the speed limit on the streets.

This, especially your last item. When I'm really pushing the car hard and maxing out the rev range, this car is damn fast. On a B road really pushing it hard, one would be amazed at the speeds they were able to carry as well as how quickly it will climb into the triple digits. We always want more hp, but after my drop in filter and muffler delete I feel pretty content with the car's power output.

![]() I'm not saying this as a salesperson. It's just that what many of you were saying was exactly what I said about my own car, and the addition of the supercharger made the power delivery just about perfect for my taste. --Dan Mach V |

I have been debating this for quite some time and at this point I want to wait and see how these different kits hold up over time and also see if Subaru and Toyota offer something more powerful... |

I would not have bought this car had I still been in Houston. Driving in straight lines sucks. However, now that I live in the hill country, this car works better than most for 'spirited driving.' Let me tell you, when you're driving these rolling hills with 2 way traffic, I push the car plenty. There has never been a time while driving on some serious hilly and windy roads where I was like 'GOD this thing is slow'. Rev match, keep your RPMs over 4500, take it to a fun hilly, windy, road with not more than a 100yds in straightaways at a time. That's what the car is meant for.................... Except I still think I'll go FI |

The only problem here is reading the blogs. Who are they and what do they know anyway?

Sir you are really negative. IMO when you have a car that looks as badass as the GT86 maybe a little more low end and mid range would match the look. I love my car it does everything well but it lacks some grunt.

People seem to get very defensive about this HP issue .... or lack of. Bottom line: if someone told you ... you could have an extra 50HP for free .... I think most here would gladly take it. I don't feel that an extra 50HP would unsettle the chassis.
