Were you planning on getting the front pipe now or were you going to wait anyway? I remember you saying you wanted to go all Tomei. I was disappointed yesterday when I found out they delayed the front pipes. I thought the whole deal would be in the mail by now.

I want that catback so bad. I need to get headers first though.

I just ordered mine a few hours ago. I was going to wait, but I need to sell my factory exhaust asap, so I went ahead and got that ball rolling. It's going to be weird having aftermarket headers, an over pipe, and catback with the factory front pipe.

I have bought several parts from them and never had any issues with them. Never been there, just ordered stuff online and over the phone.

No you don't need an SCCA license to drive at auto cross events. You just need to register for the event. You can get info on events and where to sign up from each region's website. Try delta SCCA or cenla SCCA for south Louisiana. Let me know if you have any other questions.

With regards to Tomei, I only know that they make exhaust parts and I think a limited slip for our cars. I'm sure there are plenty of well performing alternatives that are likely to be much cheaper considering Tomei is based in Japan.

Look at these numbers: www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42555

And Tomei is super ridiculously cheap. There are several stainless steal exhausts that are more than double the weight and more expensive than the Tomei exhausts. The 60R is the second lightest exhaust you can get. If you get the matching front pipe too, the whole system is 2.7lbs heavier than the lightest system (Amuse R1) but also $2,300 cheaper.

Tomei is one of the best tuning companies out of japan. Have used some of their engine internals in other projects. The price of their Ti exhaust is crazy cheap compared to what else is around and great quality. Its about the same as most stainless systems. I see alot of people owning those things.

I picked up a JDL UEL Header, Over Pipe, and Catted Front Pipe on the forums today. I can't wait for that sound!
