I'm assuming what makes it daily driveable is a boost controller that lets him turn the boost down to like 50% psi? Cause I don't know how safe a 2800 lb car would be to drive on the street with 1083 hp...

The fact that they were able to keep all the creature comforts, make that kind of horsepower, drive it on the street, and fit it all inside the original skin is quite the accomplishment.

All the naysayers forget that a lot of people have modified suspensions, exhausts, engines, exteriors, driveline, and pretty much everything on the 86. Calling these guys out for having the skill, money, and time to make a monster is tacky at best.

Would not have been my personal choice for an engine swap but none the less the swap looks good and seems to perform well. Congrats on having everything in the can network working properly as well. On swaps like these that I feel can become the most complicated part.

That honestly is a stupid joke. Not even valid anymore. And the same goes for any car that has a shit driver.

So many haters "OMG it's not a FA20" "Swapped motor doesn't count" have you ever seen a fast honda?? 99 percent are swapped and the 1 percent that isn't are the Rsx's type s that kept the k20. You gonna tell all of them that how fast there car is doesn't count because it's not the original motor?? Don't say well its still a honda motor, cuz this is a Toyota chassis with a proper Toyota motor.

Contrary to what most here may believe, many people buy this car with the intention of getting rid of the FA20. If Toyota were to sell the car with a 2jz for 40k sales would be ridiculous !!!
