How hard is it to change the oil on these kits? Just a simple drain plug and then refill?

I've already been burned with ref tickets for rotrex kits on other cars that are "CARB pending" that never actually received CARB certification.
Hmm.. I wonder if the KW kit is loud enough to mask the crickets?

The great thing about the CSG guys installing this kit is:
- I know we will get honest feedback and they will disclose any issues.
- I suspect JR will work closely with them to improve the kit over time based on their feedback.
- I know they will push their cars with these kits far harder than I ever will.
- There will be lots of cool videos of them lapping faster cars

It's not... but neither is the Innovate kit, as well as the AVO turbo and Greddy turbos (assuming they all don't have really loud exhausts).

For that matter, the crickets can be clearly heard over our exhaust, but our exhaust is on the quiet side since we still run all the factory piping except from the axle back.

This was asked in the KW thread as well by another user (and I mentioned it earlier in this thread), but are there any concerns with the JR kit for someone who sometimes has -30F weather? I never had issues with my previous car (13 Gencoupe) which had a turbo, but want to confirm if there would be any concerns with the oil heating up properly in the superchargers.

285 whp on 91 octane pump gas, that is impressive. what can you expect with 93 octane pump gas?

Just so people don't misread information and start claiming funky numbers, this particular reading is 285hp at the flywheel. This particular Dynapack translates the measured power at the hubs to calculated flywheel hp. With a conservative 15% drivetrain loss, the kit will be around ~240whp. The delta and % gain is more important.

Higher octane is, simply put, safer for your engine especially with this supplied tune since it has been tuned to be extremely conservative and safe for 91 CA octane (crap gas). Obviously, numbers will vary, but % gain will be similar for all users.

A stock VQ73VHR reads about 295 or so on that dyno. I think you'll be able to take one

I would like not to see that happen again. I plan on getting a super charger late next year.

A Z also weighs about 600 more lbs as well. So with a good turbo or supercharger, you should be able to make it very close as long as the Z is stock. If the Z is modded, then good luck. You will need a 400hp turbo.

The spec goes to -40F, so you should be just fine

I'd recommend letting EVERYTHING warm up before driving hard though...
