I find it hilarious you reacted that way to my previous post, because I never once singled you out in that post. That says something...

So true! My friend bought a 240sx for $700 before the movie. Completely stock, rust-free, overall mint condition. After that dang movie, prices skyrocketed to like $3k for a same condition 240, if not more!

Go look at the price of first gen mr2s. I bet that's where our car is going. As a side note. Love the car, just don't see how it will ever be a highly sought after classic in 20+ years.

if you want to get technical, prolly number 1-10 are the best ones to have in the future

what hype? I've seen like a hundred youtube videos and everyone of them only praise how much fun it is to drive around, steering response is awesome, interior is okay, needs more horsepower, and that it's a lightweight RWD car.

I got exactly what I paid for.

Do you know how many posts I have seen by people saying the car is slow and they did not realize it until after they bought it because their dealer would not let them test drive it?

Sorry, buy buying a car based off reviews and not being able to test drive it before buying is just dumb. This is a $24-28K Scion/Subaru, not a $200K exotic...

The average consumer thoroughly researches before buying? Most probably saw the Top Gear section at best or bought the car on a whim, we're in the minority of people who obsessively research this stuff.

"what hype?"

lol

Like every car out there, if you don't know what you're getting there's a good chance you'll be disappointed. I bet there's guys over on Mustang forums lamenting how ungainly their car is and how they miss their more agile Civics or whatever.

Damn man. My limited BRZ was actually cheaper than your FRS. Thankfully my trade knocked a lot off my sales tax
