And I have #69 out of the first 10k. Guess that's the second best number next to #86 out of the first 10k. http://autos.yahoo.com/news/6-future...150626109.html

... and a few years later, many times more than their MSRP. Here's one example (not even an ultimate collectors car, just a good car), there are many many more at Barret Jackson, try again.
Datsun 280z - MSRP $7,429.00 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...n=21.1&aid=443 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...=335.1&aid=443 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...ln=331&aid=223 |

It doesn't have to be an expensive classic car to be a classic car.

Find me a classic car that isn't over 10 grand that you can drive off the lot without needing to update anything mechanically.

I think that the Honda S2000 and Mazda MX-5s are a pretty good indicator of where our cars will be in ten years from now. I bet a 100k mi 2013 will be worth around $15k on the secondhand market. The only way to expect a premium in 30 years is to put it away in a garage and not drive it. But by then it will be competing with cheaper electrics from China and Korea. :-(

How many years was the FD around? In the first year alone of the FRS by it self they have almost beaten the FD total production numbers.
